1. In 2022 AOGU teamed up with Reach hand Uganda to build capacity of 80 VHTs and 48 peer educators from Kasese and Bunyangabu for 2 days in Value Clarification and attitude Transformation (VCAT).
  2. AOGU teamed up with Ferring Pharmaceuticals and Ministry of health to conduct a country wide Dissemination for Post-Partum Hemorrhage (PPH) Guidelines in 2022.
  3. AOGU teamed up with USAID RHITES SW from 2017 – 2019.  Training and mentorship of Health care workers in RHITES districts in South Western Uganda on Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care – Supported by USAID Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in South West Uganda (USAID RHITES SW).
  4. AOGU teamed up with Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) from 2019 to 2021). To train and mentor health workers to provide Routine and Emergency Obstetric Care, Essential Newborn Care, Post Abortion Care and Post-Partum Family Planning.
  5. AOGU teamed up with Marie stopes Uganda in 2020 To conduct the 2020 National Abortion Annual Burden Estimate Study.
  6. In 2016 to 2017 AOGU teamed up with Save the Child under the Savings newborn lives to central to train health provider in Enhancing PMTCT -Newborn service integration at district level in 3 districts of region of Uganda.
  7. The UNFPA-Uganda Ministry of Health facility needs assessment and healthcare provider mentorship project involved training and mentorship on factors that influence demand and supply of maternal and newborn services in 30 high burden districts in Western, Northern and Eastern Uganda in October 2016-January 2017, using 29 teams of midwives, obstetricians and pediatricians.
  8. The Life Saving Commodities for Women and Children project, a UNFPA and Uganda Ministry of Health Uganda funded project, involved training 400 health workers in 40 districts of Uganda on essential commodities for reducing maternal and infant deaths (June-July 2015).
